Megan Fox stars in Doritos Turkish Advert

24 Feb

I have to admit she looks fit, but how much money did they have to pay her to be in that? What a weird advert, what are they smoking in Turkey?

How to use Wikipedia – regardless of the blackout

18 Jan

How do I see wikipedia page when it’s blacked out?

I’ve seen so many people moan about this blackout I just have to speak out.

There’s a simple way around this. All you have to do is search Google for what you’re looking for and the Wiki page should be near the top.

Then, instead of going on it, you click the arrow on the site where a preview of the page comes up. You then click cached copy. And there you go.

Facebook, Paypal, Ebay, Channel 4, Hotmail all down – what’s happening?

17 Jan

I tried to sign in to Paypal when I got home to withdraw some money, but I couldn’t do it. I thought it was a little glitch and tried again..still nothing
Now it looks like a whole host of sites are down. Facebook, Ebay, Xbox, Hotmail, Channel4 – not to mention the imminent closing of Wikipedia and Reddit tomorrow.

What the hell is this about? I don’t understand. Is it in protest for SOPA? Is it the work of a large hacker group? Either way, people rely on these sites – some rely on Paypal and Ebay for their entire income. It’s not fair to punish innocent civilians for something the American government has done.

If anyone has any information as to why these sites are down, please comment.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s (Borat) New film, The Dictator

14 Dec

I saw this trending on Twitter and thought I’d have a look. The man behind Ali G, Borat and Bruno’s new film is a spoof of dictators such as Gadaffi, Sadam Hussain and Robert Mugabe among others.

Here’s the video anyway.

Dennis Skinner calls David Cameron a Plonker in the house of commons

If you’ve got a minute, take a look at this site – All you have to do is enter your email address and city you live in and you get sent lots of great deals for eating out – at no extra cost. It would be a shame to miss out on it.

Spurs fans abusing Sir Chris Hoy – not Chris Foy

12 Dec

I’m sure you’re aware that the referee came under scrutiny in the Stoke vs Tottenham Hotspur game at tthe Britannia Stadium yesterday. I didn’t watch the game so I can’t tell you my opinion, but apparently there were about 4 stone wall decisions that went against Tottenham.

The referee for the game, Chris Foy, has become a target for angry Spurs fans everywhere.

However, the abuse doesn’t stop here. It looks like Spurs fans are taking to Twitter to abuse British hero, 4 time olympic gold medalist, cyclist Sir Chris Hoy.

It’s obviously a big misunderstanding, and I find it quite amusing. Just a word to the Spurs keyboard warriors though – you’ve got the wrong man!
